The Africanfire Foundation works with local charities in the poorest areas in Africa to address
the desperate needs of these communities.
Working in partnership, we provide the funding, project management and technical expertise to the local teams with crucial ground knowledge.
Our focus areas include:
- Health centres
- Community schools
- Microfinance and business support
- Mining safety
How we are funded
Africanfire promotes an ethical message. All Africanfire diamonds are legitimate, conflict-free and mined in acceptable working conditions. The rough diamonds are cut to ideal proportions at reputable diamond-cutting factories in Belgium and India and our fine jewellery is then created by highly skilled craftspeople in the US and UK.
The profits from Africanfire jewellery are then used to develop the communities in the areas from which these valuable resources are extracted.
Diamond facts
Most people are unaware of the role diamonds play in bringing real benefits to people in the countries around the world where diamonds are sourced. Nowhere is this more evident than in Africa.
